Terms & Conditions

 

Please read carefully

 

A non-refundable deposit of £100.00 per week or part week is required for each booking. The balance of your payment must be paid 8 weeks prior to your arrival. If we do not receive this balance by this time, your booking will be treated as cancelled. If the booking is made less than 8 weeks before the holiday, full payment will be required.

 

If you cancel your booking after all payments have been made, we will try and re-book the property. If we are successful, your payment will be returned less the deposit. If we are unable to re-book, all monies would be lost.

 

In the unusual event that we have to cancel your booking, we will return all monies paid. Once you have the completed booking form, paid your deposit and have signed to accept the booking conditions, a contract between you (the holidaymaker) and 'Escape 2 Whitby' will be deemed to be in place. The party organiser must be over 21.

 

The number of people on the booking form should not exceed the stated occupancy on the booking form. All male or female groups are at the discretion of ‘Escape 2 Whitby’.

 

Smoking is not allowed in the apartment or the stairway and communal areas.

 

We regret that pets are not allowed.

 

If any complaints are made against you, the holidaymaker and matters cannot be resolved, you may be in breach of contract and would have to vacate.

 

The owner at anytime can enter the unit. You will be given notice of this unless in an emergency situation.

 

The accommodation should be clean and tidy at all times. If any fixture, fittings or contents are damaged, we would ask you to replace them, or pay for any damage.

 

Please report any shortcomings in the apartment to 'Escape 2 Whitby' as soon as possible, so that we may rectify the situation quickly.

 

We cannot be held responsible for any personal effects and you are advised to have your own holiday insurance.

 

All bed linen and tea towels are provided free of charge but towels are not provided.

 

Properties will be available from 3.00pm on your day of arrival. On your day of departure, the property should be vacated by 10.00am .

 

We take every care to ensure that everything is in good working order for your stay.

 

Should there be a problem, we would ask you to contact us as soon as possible and  we will endeavour to rectify it. However in some cases this may not be possible if the problem is caused by something out of our control
